ROOK

Pen and ink of a line drawing that will be part of a series of chess pieces. The completed set will be featured at the Cottonwood Gallery (Colorado Springs) This is possible through the efforts of the group "Phoenix Project". The Phoenix Project is a Veteran's run organization, that promotes all styles of art from active duty military service members in the Colorado Springs, CO area. Here ia a link to their site:

First off, I would like to say thank you to all the folks that have taken the time to check out my art. It is appreciated.

Second, I recently got reacquainted with an old friend (Sean). You should take the time to check out his art at the following link, especially is you are a Trek fan. [link]

My art style is self taught and as you can see, I only deal in pencil to inks. I am hoping to learn some coloring techniques and maybe some future Photoshop.

The Phoenix Project [link] , that I work with, is currently associated with Cottonwood galleries (CWG) [link] who is dedicated to the support of new artists that are active duty military. CWG is tentatively scheduled to have their next art show featuring the artist of Project Phoenix in Jan 2010 (exact dates will be posted later). It’s pretty exciting and should be great.

I currently have two submissions entered in the “Creatures of 9 Contest [link] , which is very cool. Please take the time to check out my art as well as the other participants. I saw the movie, with friends. We all thought the movie was great.
